Insurance for Community Councils
The ASCC, through Zurich Municipal Insurers, provides a scheme of insurance open to every Community Council in Scotland. For 2010-2011 insurance for member Community Councils is still the lowest ever price, just £52.00 per CC per year from 1 April.
For just £52.00 per year, your CC can be covered for:
- Public Liability
- Personal Accident involving a CCllr
- Defamation by a CCllr of a member of the public.
The ASCC can also provide specific cover for property, special events and “all risks.”
